Vanquish ME™ is FDA-cleared and TGA-registered, and the device monitors skin temperature and impedance throughout the session to keep energy delivery within a safe range. It isn’t suitable for everyone, including people who are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other active implant, or have metal implants in the treatment area, which is why we review your medical history before recommending treatment.

Most clients describe the sensation as a warm, comfortable feeling similar to lying under a heated blanket, rather than pain. There’s no suction and no needles involved. Some people notice mild warmth or light redness immediately afterward, which typically settles within a few hours.

A typical course is 4 to 6 sessions, spaced roughly a week apart, with each session lasting 30 to 45 minutes depending on the area. The right number for you depends on how much fat you’re looking to reduce and how your body responds, which we’ll discuss at your consultation.

Vanquish ME™ uses radiofrequency heat and is fully contactless, while CoolSculpting freezes fat using a suction applicator and Ultrasound Fat Cavitation uses ultrasound waves via a handpiece. Vanquish ME™’s main advantage is treatment area, its panel can cover the full abdomen and flanks in one session, whereas CoolSculpting and cavitation generally treat smaller, more localised spots. Yes. Vanquish ME™ is often paired with INDIBA® Pro-ionic radiofrequency for skin tightening and collagen support after fat reduction, or with BTL Lymphastim™ compression therapy to support lymphatic drainage between sessions. We can talk through combination options at your consultation.

There’s no downtime, you can return to your normal day straight after treatment. For the best results, we recommend drinking at least 2 to 3 litres of water daily in the days before and after treatment, avoiding a heavy meal immediately beforehand, and doing some light activity like walking to support lymphatic flow. Pairing your course with Lymphastim compression sessions can also help.
